Beginner's Goodbye by Anne Tyler

I would recommend The Beginner's Goodbye by Anne Tyler to anybody who likes a story that sticks in your mind.  I found myself thinking about the characters even when I wasn't reading.  It's a fast read--I read it in a couple of nights.  It is a story about working through the grief process with humor and wisdom.  The book is due out in April 2012.
